Destination information
The Tower of San Vicente, built in the 16th century on the Bernat Artola promenade, was part of the watchtowers that protected the Castellón coast from privateer attacks. Its location in the Olla de Benicàssim made it a strategic point for sheltering boats and controlling the coastline.
Today it houses the Torre de Sant Vicent Interpretation Centre, an interactive space that explains the history of the towers and piracy in the region, featuring audioguides, virtual reality, informative panels and, on the terrace, a replica of an 18th-century cannon alongside spectacular views of the coast.
Outside, the tower is surrounded by a well-kept garden by the sea, which has a wide leisure area perfect for strolling, relaxing, and enjoying the coastal views.
