Destination information
Peñíscola, considered one of the most charming towns in Spain, stands out for its historic centre that juts into the waters of the Mediterranean, forming a small peninsula. Although the modern area of the municipality extends along about 5 kilometres of coastline, the majority of the cultural and tourist interest is concentrated in its old quarter. There, the imposing Papa Luna Castle (Castillo del Papa Luna) stands out, while walking through its narrow streets you can discover corners such as the House of the Shells (Casa de les Petxines), with a façade covered in shells. If you continue to the lighthouse, spectacular viewpoints with unique views await you.
