Benicàssim

Benicàssim, located just 12 kilometres from Castellón de la Plana, is one of the most emblematic destinations on the Costa Azahar.

Greenway Route

The coastal route between Benicàssim and Oropesa offers 11 km of cliffs and viewpoints by the sea. A route on foot or by bike that ends at the lively promenade of Oropesa. The route also includes Bellver and La Renegà beaches, which have nudist areas and areas suitable for dogs.

Las Palmas Desert Natural Park

The Las Palmas Desert Natural Park, covering 3,200 hectares between the sea and the mountains, offers trails, viewpoints and unique landscapes.

Route of the Villas

The Benicàssim Villas, known as the “Valencian Biarritz”, preserve 51 architectural gems spread across Infierno (Hell), Corte Celestial (Celestial Court), and Limbo (Limbo). A stroll along Voramar beach and the Pilar Coloma Promenade completes the visit with Mediterranean charm. The Belle Époque Festival, with historical re-enactments, is held in September.

Tower of San Vicente

The Tower of San Vicente, from the 16th century and Renaissance style, used to guard the coast and today stands out next to a garden and leisure area facing the sea.

Alcocéber

Alcocéber, on the Costa Azahar and at the foot of the Sierra de Irta, combines pristine beaches, historical heritage such as Xivert Castle and Ebrí Tower, and a marina with access to the Columbretes Islands.

Peñíscola

Peñíscola, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, has an old quarter that juts out into the Mediterranean and is dominated by the Castle of Papa Luna. Among its streets, the Casa de les Petxines and the viewpoints next to the lighthouse stand out, perfect for enjoying unique views.
